Tree of Life Christian Church Women's/Girl's Ministries
God has designed women with a specific purpose
and role in His kingdom. Each woman is given particular assignments
and gifts within God's purpose and role for all women. Tree of Life
provides ministries for women within our congregation and to the
larger body of Christ focused on helping those women realize and
embrace their purpose and role in God's kingdom, and to discover
and develop the particular assignments and gifts God has given them.
All ministries to children are specifically designed
to come alongside and assist parents in the teaching and training
of their daughters to Godly maturity.

Titus
Twosdays for Women
We seek to speak life into the hearts of
women; to teach, train, and build-up women of God according
to His purpose (Titus 2:4-5); to be stewards of the Word through
personal study and the giving of the Word in discipleship
and mentoring relationships; to be living examples of Christ
placing others before ourselves (Philippians 2:1-18).
Titus Twosdays for Women helps equip mature
women to fulfill their role of encouraging and serving as
examples for younger women, as described in Titus 2:3-5; honors
the Word of God through developing and sustaining gentle and
quiet spirits in the hearts and lifestyles of all women according
to 1 Peter 3:4; joins women together in unity of the Holy
Spirit; helps to develop and sustain teachable hearts; and
speaks the truth in love. We believe this is effectively accomplished
through building one-on-one and group relationships. |
Titus Twosdays for Women meets from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
on the third Tuesday of each month from February through October.

Titus
Twosdays for Girls (Keepers at Home)
Titus Twosdays for Girls (Keepers at Home)
is a valuable resource for parents guiding and training their
young girls to walk in the ways of our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ. God reveals in His Word that Christian wives are called
to be helpers suitable for their husbands and nurturers of
their children. It is never too early to begin training young
girls in this high calling. The unbelieving world, public
school system, even many christian schools and churches indoctrinate
young girls with views that oppose those revealed in God's
Word. Titus Twosdays for Girls is a resource where the purity
and sanctity of biblical womanhood is respected, revered,
and promoted.
Titus Twosdays for Girls is a carefully designed
program (based upon the Keepers at Home material presented
by Keepers
of the Faith) that provides a solid framework of biblical
instruction, while making learning and accomplishment fun.
It is structured as a mother-daughter ministry to encourage
and support mothers in training their girls. The goal is to
point girls toward God's plan for their future to become mature,
feminine women. It also promotes healthy family relationships
with their parents and siblings to fulfill God's present purpose
for their lives.

Titus Twosdays for Girls provides wholesome, fun-filled
learning experiences while building character. The girls are taught
basic skills of caring for their immediate environment, such as
homemaking. Hand skills through crafts and projects are also taught,
as well as physical fitness through outdoor activities. Knowledge
is gained through leadership, culture, and nature badges. And most
importantly, spiritual priorities like Bible reading and memory
work are emphasized. There is a strong emphasis on meeting the needs
of others in their lives through service-oriented badges. It is
a good point to remember, that God most often uses us for service
in areas in which we are skilled. We provide girls opportunity to
be of service to God and others by training them to be skilled,
fully capable individuals with a heart to serve God.
Each Titus Twosday girl memorizes the following
goal:
"With God’s
help, my goal is to have a teachable spirit so that I can master
the different crafts and skills which will enable me to become a
complete, well-balanced Christian girl who loves God, and who may
one day be a proper helper, suitable for my husband, and a keeper
at home."
Titus Twosdays for Girls meets from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from February through
October.

Titus
Twosdays for Teens (Keeperteens)
Titus Twosdays for Teens (Keeperteens) is
designed to encourage and strengthen the mother-daughter relationship
for teenage girls, while continuing the emphasis on girls
transitioning into mature, feminine women of God. Mothers
and daughters enjoy rich fellowship, biblically based study,
and occasional homebuilding exercises. |
Titus Twosdays for Teens (Keeperteens) meets from
7:00-8:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month from February
through October.

Handmaidens
Prayer is a powerful tool that the Lord has
given to each believer and through which He works in His Church
and the world. Handmaidens is a women's only intercessory
prayer ministry through which women join together in prayer
for people and circumstances in our church, community, nation,
and the world. |
Handmaidens meets from 7:30-7:00 p.m. on the third
Tuesday of each month from February through October (right before
Titus Twodays for women).
